I'm playing my PS3 & Wii-U, with some PS4 on the side... and @Benjamin & Bully, common stop being a Ninty fanboy....Sony have been ahead of Nintendo in the software stakes from PS1....I wasn't playing a thing on my Wii-u until Mario 3d World...and I've had the machine from launch, I played Zombi-U for 1hr or 2 & realized it was medicore at best, & I barely touched my copy of Super Mario Wii-U, as it was a poor Mario.......So, the best launch game I got was actually...

I'm a PS gamer predominantly, & Divekick just never piqued my interest... It really looks like one of those games that provides a few hours of fun, but then, like a extra heavy drinking session, you instantly regret the fact it stole your money, & HDD space.

I agree with abzdine, Psone REVOLUTIONIZED home gaming consoles, & almost single handedly made arcades obsolete...It's a shame arcades went that way, but it was always going to happen, as consoles got better & better & more capable. Fanboy fodder articles...Both consoles are doing well...How on earth can MS's sales numbers be considered anything but excellent, & PS4's are stunningly good...But it early in the game, & there isn't any 10/10 killer app, massive console seller titles available YET. I bought Mario 3D World for my Wii-U a few days after I bought my PS4 & 6 launch games, KZ, KNACK, Ghosts, BF4, NFS & AC:BF. I fired up Mario really excited after all the "GLOWING" reviews...IT WAS THE SAME SH!T REHASHED.... It seems Nintendo can't capture that magic that made Mario64 stand head & shoulder above other past Mario's & platformers in general.. Just make the sequel even bigger & better.. I love the game, & it is obviously a game that needed to be finished for PS4's launch, & that shows, with things like linearity & such...But hey, linearity is great sometimes, when you don't want every game to be a slog to traverse through hugely confusing 3D worlds....I will say though, that if they incorporate worlds more like Ratchets & especially the 1st Jak & Daxter, the game will be better for it.

I agree...Very unjust gaming media...Shows the big sites are A-Holes with agendas & cannot be trusted. I'm sure Ryse didn't deserve a 4/10 from IGN or whoever it was.
Knack though is a very classy, classic platformer, that has all the stapled of a great platformer, such as really tight controls, smooth gameplay....I find it addictive just trying to grow your character larger & larger, as well as the other gameplay. Low review scores are very unfounded.....
Took 12months to get a halfway decent Mario on there machine. Nice damage control...Problem for Reggie is that even the Nintendo STUD, is being outsold by the Sony DUD in Knack. And don't get me wrong, I think Knack is great, as well as Mario 3D World......but I think many are understandably tiring of nothing but Mario themed games on Nintendo hardware. I know I desperately would like to see Miyamoto try something damn well different to the usual suspects.
